Edwards shoots for White House again, calling for a new spirit of activism
(New Orleans-AP) December 28, 2006 - Former Democratic Senator John Edwards is making another run for the White House, calling for people to take action to help the nation.
He said the next president must "re-establish America's leadership role in the world, starting with Iraq." He says troops should leave Iraq, while the US pushes for an end to genocide in Sudan and to atrocities in northern Uganda.
