You speak about freedom, which is wonderful. But don't you see that removing Christian prayer from schools and people choosing to not say "merry christmas" is an extension of this freedom. By reinstating prayer in schools you are forcing your spiritual views on those that may not share it.
How is that fair?
You have the freedom to believe in what you like and practice your own religion in your church and home.
If Christian prayer comes back then so must jewish prayer, muslim prayer, hindu, sihk, and a multitude of other faiths traditions.
I hear you and I understand what you are saying. I don't think that schools should be "forced" to install Prayer, they shouldn't be forced not to have Prayer either!The key word here my friend, is freedom.
I agree what people choose to belive in "their own homes" (key) is their choice, Remember, this is One Nation under God! Presumably!
