I have been thinking (!) that currently we have what is most probably the most incompetent President in our history in the White House. With something less than two years left to his "reign" we will never be able to impeach him. This means he is free to declare war and invade and attack anyone, anywhere, at any time. This sickens me. We will in all reality be going to war in Iran. Let's stop the war in Iran before it starts! How to do this is the issue. Our "President" no longer listens to "we the people" because he doesn't have to, he has nothing to lose. Bush doesn't listen to Congress or Study Groups or anyone else for that matter. I am afraid for this Country and where the President is taking us. Nothing makes sense to me anymore. It appears to me that the only concern Bush is interested in is how to keep the oil in Iraq out of the Saudi's hands and how to deliever retribution for "Daddy." What is best for this Country no longer seems to enter into Bush's mind as he ploughs recklessly ahead hell bent on destruction! This is My View of It!

It is as if we are living in some alternative universe, where the leaders make all the incorrect decisions, and take the country into places it should never have gone in the first place. ALmost like a bad novel, or episode of Star Trek
Frightening and Scary
Well, at least only congress can actually declare war. The president can only truly mobilize a limited number of troops.
I was a die hard republican until GW Bush. I not only lost faith in the party, but in the American voter.
It sure seems to me we are in places we shouldn't be, and men and women are dead who shouldn't be. Where is the "Beam me up" Button??
Yes only Congress can declare war, evidently this Congress does whatever they are told to do! I am saddened that your Party has disappointed you, I wouldn't be so harsh on the voters though, we were all fooled. Thanks for the visit and the comment!
All the money spend in Ira, how many people you an make healthy with?
Or how many 250 USD houses you built in Tsunami struh Sri Lanka?
Do we really want people to be in charge of our country when all they do is spending money on wars????
If you are asking me can some of the money spent on our military be better spent elsewhere? I couldn't agree more!
By the spring of 1963, Kennedy had reversed course completely and agreed with
Mansfield:
"The President told Mansfield that he had been having serious second thoughts
about Mansfield's argument and that he now agreed with the Senator's thinking on
the need for a complete military withdrawal from Vietnam.
'But I can't do it until 1965--after I'm reelected,' Kennedy told Mansfield....
He was Assasinated before he could act.

We really really really need to impreach Bush. Honestly though I fear that this is far more then just his fault, we have allowed people into possitions that have no right to be there. As far as the oil is concerned, I don't see that that makes any sense at this point, he doesn't seem to care about the oil from where I sit. Just pray that he doesn't do something foolish to allow martial law to be declared. If he does that, we will never get rid of him. Truth be told, you don't even want to know what I suspect and if you look, many others also suspect. Its something that has been being worked on for quite some time. The question is, what is a democracy?
