Tell Congress: Stop the Escalation; Bring Our Troops Home

President Bush currently plans to send an additional 20,000 troops into Iraq, with no further clarification of their mission, goals, or an exit strategy. This is exactly the wrong strategy and will only lead to more unnecessary deaths, both U.S. and Iraqi. Congress needs to stop this dangerous plan, and instead start redeploying American troops out of harm's way.
President Bush himself said, a mere 18 months ago, "Sending more Americans would undermine our strategy of encouraging Iraqis to take the lead in this fight." He was right back then -- and his abrupt flip-flop on this issue of vital national importance is deeply troubling
