Same Protest, Different Protest Singer…..

In what is turning into an unraveling like a cheap sweater, another ex Bushie has added his name to the growing list of people publicly questioning the Bush administration’s reasons for invading Iraq.

George Tenet, former director of the CIA has lashed out against Dick Cheney, and other administration officials in his new book, “At the Center of the Storm”.

“I remember watching and thinking, ‘As if you needed me to say ‘slam dunk’ to convince you to go to war with Iraq,’ ” Mr. Tenet writes, referring to Cheney.

In his book, Mr. Tenet names those who were grossly responsible for the Bush administration’s rush to war. But he takes aim at the Vice President, as the person who beat the war drums the loudest. He states that Mr. Cheney, Mr. Wolfowitz, and Mr. Feith, were focused on Iraq as a threat in late 2001, as opposed to the CIA who were focusing on Al Qaeda.

As the facts now show, there wasn’t going to be anything that was going to stop Bush and Company from invading Iraq. Nothing. These people were bound and determined to get Saddam, even if it meant fabricating the reasons.

It’s nice to see former Bush insiders coming out and agreeing that the reasons for war with Iraq were all a lie. There were no WMDs. There were no mobile chemical labs. The alleged connection between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda remains unproven. All lies.

With articles of impeachment filed against Mr. Cheney earlier, now this book by someone who would know Mr. Cheney’s antics in the White House, is there any reason why we shouldn’t believe that Cheney is the war mongering person we suspected he was all along?

This guy is just as criminal as the rest of the lot, in my opinion. He is obviously more sleazy, which is probably what took him straight to the top at CIA. He obviously sucked up to all the neocons and told them what they wanted to hear, going against the best judgment of his best analysts. Now he is telling us what he thinks that we want to hear. His story does not wash. He should be charged with war crimes just like the rest of this lot.

Bush is merely a pupper for Cheney. This war is about oil and serrling old scores. The Sins of the Fathers....

With so much finger pointing going on by the neocons, both present and ex, is it any wonder why they are now all of a sudden going into CYA mode?

Carol, the best is yet to come. There is one website you might enjoy. It's called: "rawstory.com" It's a left wing website, and you have to show some common sense in what you accept or don't...but I have found that most stories from this site show up in mainstream media a few days later.

One story: Ex CIA agent states he has evidence forged yellow cake memo came from VP's office.
