Shout Out to: Cool Cubs Club - BearBlog

Kudos to Beth and Rod the Creators of this little gem for children and the young-at-heart.

This is a Blog for children and kids at heart where they will be publishing at least four of the stories on-line, with an on-line store of "beary" cool things soon to be opened.

The goal of the stories is to explain some character traits to children and parents alike without hurting anyone's feelings. What a great way to let kids know that although we are alike we are all unique and different and that it is "OK" to be you. I just love that idea!

While Beth and Rod are not experts if you are looking for advanced degrees, peer-reviewed studies, and published articles in all of the latest magazines, then no. On the other hand, we are students and teachers of life. Rod and I have both used what we have learned about communication and psychology in real-life circumstances, making our lives and the lives of those with whom we share our knowledge fuller and richer in the process. Nothing that we are saying is rocket science: it is simply common sense, told through the lives of our bears.

The books are one part of the series. We have also put together a profile on each of our cubs, letting parents know what specific personality traits each cub exhibits might parallel those of their children, and how to speak with that cub--and the child--in order to help them move along quicker in their learning process.

If you are looking for some good quality, educational and safe sites that are child-friendly then I encourage you to pay the Cool Cubs Club - BearBlog a visit and see what it's all about.

Congratulations to Beth and Rod for getting to live their dream!
