Democrats - The Do Nothing Party

One of the main problems with the Democratic Party is that there are too many warring factions making up their base. This has the side effect of making most of their candidates look weak and indecisive.
They are trying to please everybody without making anybody angry.
Why not try this: stand for what you think is right, not for what you think everybody wants.
The Democrats have been the do-nothing party of late, which is a shame considering the current political hysteria. This comes from the feeling that the war in Iraq is the most important issue facing our country. It is not. Obviously, it is an important issue, but it isn't the only issue.
Why aren't the Democrats standing up for what they believe and taking away some of the power Bush is weilding?
Their inability to govern is making it increasingly clear that there's a real crisis in leadership on Capitol Hill because nothing is getting accomplished."

This is so true. They have done nothing. Bush is still in office, our sons and daughters are still being killed. It seems all they are worried about is being reelected.
