How I see the world...For better or worse! My "Hideout" to rant and rave, to express myself without reservation! I have varied interests - Politics, Activism, Current Events, News and a variety of issues. Might find just about anything! More Leftist/Socialist/Communist bullshit - Or Not ~
The tyranny evaluation holds over us is the most important roadblock we need to overcome to achieve a personal renaissance. The most common reason we hesitate when presented with the opportunity to express ourselves creatively is our fear of other people’s negative opinions.

Now I've been crying lately, thinking about the world as it is Why must we go on hating, why can't we live in bliss Cause out on the edge of darkness, there rides a peace train

Hi Carol,
Wow..thanks for sharing this! I've always enjoyed Elvis, but I honestly never heard this one before..
It's beautiful..
If I can dream of a better land
Where all my brothers walk hand in hand
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can`t my dream come true
There must be peace and understanding sometime
Strong winds of promise that will blow away
All the doubt and fear
And while I can think, while I can talk
While I can stand, while I can walk
While I can dream, please let my dream
Come true, right now
Let it come true right now
wow..
thanks!
Ellen
Good Morning Ellen,
I am pleased that you liked the video. Elvis's voice and message is so powerful.
I guess I was just in the mood last night to get some motivation and to reassure myself that I can dream and maybe that my soul is not beyond redemption....
Have a great day!
Oh Carol this too is absolutely one of my all time favorite songs. I think it is by far one of the best that Elvis or anyone ever sang. We can dream and maybe if enough of us dreamers keep dreaming things will change someday.

Carol, I have added the current train to the post on Santa's Community Blog. I included BlueRibbonBloggers - you may want to add the link to your BRB post to your sidebar list :)
