Finally, a politician with scruples; sort of!

With the recent spate of politicians screwing up, then denying any wrong doing, there arises from the ashes a man who appears to have a conscience.

Getting tired of listening to the same old song and dance of Bush, Cheney, Gonzalez, Wolfowitz, etc etc? Aren’t we all?

In a refreshing news story coming from the State Department, Randall Tobias, director of U.S. Foreign Assistance and administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), has resigned his position for “personal reasons.”

The “Personal Reasons”, it was learned was that he was a client of "DC Madam's" escort service. Although he claims that “no sex” was ever involved, it is clear that his conscience would not let him continue to serve in public office.

End of story. No denying the accusations, no excuses, no finger pointing, no fighting to keep his job, nothing. He knew he screwed up; he brought shame to himself, his Wife, his department, and those working under him. He did the right thing. He admitted guilt, and resigned. Are you paying attention Wolfy, and Gonzo?

I’m sure after Tobias packs up his office; his wife probably has more packing for him to do when he gets home.
