WASHINGTON - President Bush has chosen Lt. Gen. Douglas Lute, the Pentagon's director of operations, to oversee the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan as a "war czar" after a long search for new leadership, administration officials said Tuesday.
The source for this informartion is based on condition of anonymity because Bush had not yet made an announcement.
Is this guy crazy to take this Position? I really think that Bush created this Position in order to have someone to lay blame upon when this whole Middle Eastern mess blows up in his face. What do you think about this?

If it wasn't the Bush (Bushywack) administration that picked him it could've been looked at as hope. Poor dude he got picked to lead now! He looks confident maybe he believes in himself. Poor dude! He He He Purple Crayon Brain lives on....
Bang on and the sh$t will flow downhill on this one
Hi Purple Crayon brain,
First of all thanks for the visit and the comment. I can't think of any reason we need a : anticancer properties "War Czar." I think it is just a bit over the top, and is only going to be another person for Bush to scapegoat.
Hi Peter,
Yep the sh**t always flows downhill. Nice to see you.
