Bush management of Iraq war comes under scrutiny from Republicans

Recent popularity polls aren’t the only indicators of how Bush is handling the war in Iraq. Now 11 members of House Republicans have come forward and expressed feelings about the war. They told the President that conditions needed to improve markedly by fall or more Republicans would desert him on the war.

Up until now, the President has shrugged off public opinion and Democratic lawmakers attempts to get him to re-think the Iraq war strategy; maybe now that members of his own party are starting to put pressure on him as well, he’ll finally take the ear plugs out and listen!
