I am not so stupid not to understand that War is War but this is just another form of terrorism - in my view of "it".

And the fact that the Bush administration refuses to explicitly ban waterboarding and other"interrogation" methods it uses on *suspected*terrorists.
What is waterboarding exactly?

The most disturbing and dangerous thing about the torture discussion in the USA is, that the bush adminstration tries to legitimate forms of torture by law.
A red line in law has to be strict in this case.
In war, of course torture can´t be banned and it will always happen on all sides, but it should never be verified by the law.

I watched a special report not long ago concerning this. It is an awful thing...the person can't get their breath and experiences the sensation of drowning. Now really, with the exception of a few truly coragous or insane people wouldn't spill their guts and say anything the government wanted them to....to get away from this. What's next the infamous table that england once used to litterally stretch people to the points that their bones and body parts began to seperate? I just don't know anymore Carol....all I do know for sure is that Bush has got to go!!~Jackie

Your English is just fine. I understand what you mean. As far as the law or Bush stance on torture here is what he says is unacceptable:
• Torture or other acts of violence serious enough to be considered comparable to murder, torture, mutilation or cruel or inhuman treatment.
• Willful or outrageous acts of personal abuse done to humiliate or degrade someone in a way so serious that any reasonable person would "deem the acts to be beyond the bounds of human decency." That includes sexually indecent acts.
• Acts intended to denigrate the religion of an individual.
The order does not permit detainees to contact family members or have access to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
