President George W. Bush signs into law S. 3930, the Military Commissions Act of 2006, during a ceremony on October 17, 2006 in the East Room of the White House.
The United States Military Commissions Act of 2006, Pub. L. No. 109-366, 120 Stat. 2600 (Oct. 17, 2006), enacting Chapter 47A of title 10 of the United States Code, is an Act of Congress (Senate Bill 3930[1]) signed by President George W. Bush on October 17, 2006. Drafted in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision on Hamdan v. Rumsfeld[2], the Act's stated purpose is to "facilitate bringing to justice terrorists and other unlawful enemy combatants through full and fair trials by military commissions, and for other purposes."[3] The bill eliminates Habeas Corpus and bipartisan critics contend that it is unconstitutional. This law has been used to detain "enemy combatants", including US citizens, indefinitely in a military prison without access to a lawyer.

I see you found the MCA of 2007 and like me felt it needed a more public airing.
That's one that the MSM has failed to write often too inform the people how we lost our Constitution.
God Bless.
Actually Anon, I feel like I am pissing in the wind here. Is anyone listening do you think?

I don't really know. I've posted on it too.
God Bless.
Hi Anon,
I know you have posted on it and very clearly stated at that. I remember that when I first started Reading your Blog you were feeling pretty much like me. I agree so much with what you say and how you feel about the really awful things that are happening in this Country and others thanks to the current Administration, it can feel frustrating at times. I so appreciate you and your insight and that you choose to come here and talk about your thoughts and feelings.
Peace.
Carol
