The Symbiotic Relationship Between Bush and Gonzales

Bush won't get rid of Gonzales because he is the only thing left standing between Bush and Special Prosecutors. Bush has much to hide and as long as he has people like Gonzales to enable and front for him we may never know the truth of what goes on behind the scenes at the Bush White House.

Politically speaking, holding on to Gonzales can't really hurt Bush although keeping him isn't entirely 'cost free.'

Bush appears to be willing to weather any storm and face any amount of criticism in his quest to cover his and his 'Bushies" asses.
