I Went and Did it Now!

Since we are two days into 'Blogrolling Amnesty Day' I thought I would take advantage of this time to put in my request to the following:

Crooks and Liars
Daily Kos: State of the Nation

These are all in the Top 100 on Technorati so I figured it was worth my time and effort to do this, we shall see what comes of it.

Here's the request I sent to each of these great Sites:

In the spirit of BlogRolling Amnest Day, I humbly and respectfully (groveling really) request the honor of being added to your BlogRoll.
Naturally, I have added you to mine as well.

Come to think of it I should have said "you are cordially invited to add yourself to my Blog Roll" - LOL!

Think that will get it done?

Hi, there. Found you on Rotus' site merrily celebrating Blogroll Amnesty Day. I'm adding you to my blogroll and I'm neither a spam or porn blog, but I do say unprintable things a lot. I thought everybody did on account of the rotten state of the world. I'll understand if you don't want to add me as a result, but I'd be really pleased if you would. Of course, you could add my friend's site instead, where I am a regular contributor. We use only the best language there.

PS: No, I don't think asking them will get you added to their blogrolls. Just sayin'.

Wow. This is all new to me. Check out my blog at http://alientrucker.com and see if you would add me to your roll.
Your site is a great one and I am glad I found it.

Hi Political Cat and Alien Trucker.
I am thrilled that you want to be added to my Blogroll. It's done :)
You're right Cat I doubt if they will add me either but hey, it's worth a shot :)

Well we are already on each others blog roll so I guess we are good.

I never thought of asking people to do it. I have asked a few to remove me from theirs because they were porn or something.

I will check out the site and see what sites look good.

They cut the access to all blogs at work that are on blogger, wordpress and other hosted sites, all I can get to is own domain blogs like mine. It sucks at work, very boring now without the blogs to read.

Well thats the government for you.

Number of Operations Iraq Freedom and Enduring Freedom casualties as confirmed by U.S. Central Command: 4404

Yep we're good Ted. The Sites I listed are all on their own Domain - they are the big Kahuna's!
They can do that- prevent you from looking at Blog? That sucks :(
