There sure is alot of interesting information out there in the "Blogosphere!" So much so that today my brain hurts from being stretched in places that I haven't been in a very long time. I am talking about the actual intellectual parts of it!
I went to College to Study Human Services and to learn to become a Substance Abuse Counselor. Here I was taught the "Art of Listening." I thought I knew how to listen (and I do) but today someone asked me about "a better question," and I am completely at a loss here.
What defines a better question, aside from the usual who, what, why, where, when, and how that we were taught in school?
This is used to essentially get information. What I am talking about is something that actually gets us to look at things with a new perspective, gets us thinking "outside the box," thinking about along the more existential realms I suppose would be a better way of stating this.
Do we even think in that realm in our day to day life do you think or are those more philosphical questions saved for those really trying times in our lives? I made a post earlier along these lines
Your Last Breath, but didn't seem to get much response to it. I am wondering now if a better question wouldn't have been something like "Are you Present in Your Life" or something like that.
Are we uncomfortable thinking about the more philosophical side of life? Are we too busy to think at all? Do you have a better question?
This is the Site that got my mind working in this direction today it is my friend Peter's Site, why not pay him a visit and get your mind stretched?
