George Bush’s Xmas Message – Barking Mad?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the most powerful man in the world. Here’s the Bush family’s Christmas message – and what a message it is! And isn’t that ex PM Tony Blair talking to a dog?! Thankfully this isn’t a one off production, their dogs Barney and Ms Beazley have starred in a series of films, including ‘Where in the White House is Ms Beazley?’ and ‘My Barney Valentine’.

Are you aware that funding has been cut for US National Parks. With that, many have been laid off from their positions. It would behoove Bush to promote the idea of romancing our young sprouts to volunteer positions their services.

In spite of the cutbacks, the USNF just recently purchased upteen dollars worth of tasers. Do those dots connect very well with you? Think Police State. Bush and Cheney are working hard toward creating more nonsense. It will be in no time before the US, Mexico, and Canada will be one unit called "The North American Union, no thanks to Cheney really pushing hard for NAFTA. We'll no longer be Americans. We'll be North American Union citizens.

spiffy, absolutely freakin' spiffy.

Hi Saboma,
First let me tell you that I appreciate you taking the time to visit and comment.
I read a little something about the funding situation but it is a bit outdated:

WASHINGTON — National parks would be a big winner under President Bush's 2008 budget, and a plan to match up to $100 million annually in private donations could guarantee increases for a decade.
Bush's budget, being unveiled today, would give the National Park Service $2.4 billion next year, administration officials told USA TODAY. That includes a $258 million increase for daily operations, up 14.5%. Since 2002, those funds have risen 1.5% above inflation.

The president proposes adding at least $100 million a year for the next 10 years. The funds would be used to hire 3,000 seasonal park rangers, guides and maintenance workers each summer, an increase of more than 50%. In addition, more than 1 million children could be enrolled in youth programs.

As for the NAU now that is a scary proposition!!
Peace.
Carol
